Ecology conservation: |

Vehicles are forbidden in tidal flats. Those violate the regulation shall be fined between NT$30,000 and 150,000 in accordance with Article 65 of Fisheries Act. |

Illegal fishing of aquatic animals/plants, fishing or
sale of black shell, fishing of coral reef with 12 nautical
miles from the shore (including offshore islands), public
display for sale, import or export from Penghu County
are strictly forbidden. Whoever is guilty of violating
such shall be punishable by imprisonment for not more
than five years, detention and/or a fine of not more than
NT$150,000. |

Landing on protection areas: Dinggo Islet, Jishan Islet,
Little Baisha Islet and protection area of basalt is prohibited. |

Approved voyages by Magong Office, Port of Kaohsiung
are: Tongpan, Hujin, Wangan, Jianjun, Chimei, Dongji,
Dongyupin, Huayu, Yuanbei, Niaoyu, Jibei, Gupuoyu, Mudoyu
and Dachan, etc. Landing on other islets is dangerous
and prohibited as they are without berthing facilities
or lack of maintenance. |
Animal poisoning: |
Sea snail
Poisonous thorn bushes on dorsal fins and pectoral fins, which are sharp and ooze severe poison. Those Bit will experience pain, swelling, fever or even deaths. |

Stingray
Tails have saw shaped bushes with severe poison gland. Those bit will experience severe traumas. |
|
Sebastiscus marmoratus
All fins are with strong poison, which still remains even if the fish is dead. |
|
Jellyfish
They look like an umbrella. The bottom tentacles have strong poison trichocyst. Once you touch it, you will strong pain. Some jellyfishes have strong poison to kill people. |

Siganus fuscesens
Siganus fuscesens are often found in reef rocks or coral reef sea and are often caught by cliff fishing.
They struggle with the hard bushes when leaving water. Hands may be stabbed if you are not careful in releasing hooks. Bushes of fins ooze poisonous liquid.

Swellfish
Toxins are stored in ovaries, seminal
vesicles, livers and skins of swellfish. Some swellfish
are even poisonous in blood and muscles. Be extremely
careful. The most common thorn swellfish is not poisonous.
It is still very uncomfortable if stung by its sharp thorns. |
